Kelsie Jean Schelling

Time of Disappearance

  • Missing Since: February 4, 2013 from Pueblo, Pueblo County, Colorado
  • Classification: Endangered Missing
  • Date Of Birth: February 18, 1991
  • Age: 21
  • Height: 5'4" or 163 cm
  • Weight: 120 lbs. or 54 kg
  • Hair Color: Brown
  • Eye Color: Hazel
  • Race: White
  • Gender: Female
  • Distinguishing Characteristics: Kelsie has multiple
tattoos including a Chinese symbol on the back of her neck,
cursive writing on the inside of her left arm, a green
skeleton key on the left side of her chest with the word
"love," a fleur-de-lis on the right side of her rib cage, and
the roman numerals XCI on the right side of her chest.
  • Medical Conditions: Kelsie may be in need of medical
    attention.
She was 8 weeks pregnant at the time of her disappearance.
  • Case Number: 13-2755

Details of Disappearance
Kelsie Schelling was last seen on February 4, 2013, in Pueblo, Colorado. She had just learned she was pregnant and had driven from her home in Denver to Pueblo to see her boyfriend, Donthe Lucas, when she vanished. The last text message Kelsie ever sent was to Donthe Lucas at 12:32 in the morning on February 5, 2013 asking where he was and "complaining that she had been waiting for over an hour for him."

Video released by the Pueblo Police Department shows a person driving Kelsie's car out of the Walmart parking lot. A few days later, her vehicle was found in the parking lot of St. Mary-Corwin Hospital in Pueblo. Surveillance footage showed the car had been parked there since February 7. Schelling’s phone records showed that she was in Pueblo until at least February 7. That’s when police said the cell phone battery died. It has not been turned on since then.

Investigators say Donthe Lucas was arrested a short time later, after using her bank card. The charges were later dropped as was not uncommon that she had given him permission in the past to use the card. Foul play is suspected.

Schelling parents — Doug Schelling and Laura Saxton — in 2015 filed a U.S. District Court suit alleging police obstructed the investigation of her disappearance and lied to them about evidence. The suit was filed against police and Lucas. The suit also contends Lucas caused Kelsie Schelling’s death.

Katherine Ann Jones

Time of Disappearance

  • Missing Since: September 27, 1974 from Clearfield, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania
  • Classification: Endangered Missing
  • Date Of Birth: March 12, 1945
  • Age: 29
  • Height: 5'0"
  • Weight: 104-114 lbs.
  • Hair Color: Brown
  • Eye Color: Green
  • Race: White
  • Gender: Female
  • AKA: Kathy Golemboski
  • Case Number: C3-31584

Details of Disappearance
Katherine Jones was last seen in Clearfield on September 27, 1974. She allegedly left with a man to whom she reportedly said she was engaged. She left her four children from a previous marriage with a friend for safe keeping while she was away.

She was not reported missing until October 14, 1974.

According to Jones' family, she never mentioned leaving the area to get married. Family members told police they had received a note believed to have been from Kathy, saying she had left her children with a family in Smoke Run because she had left to get married. The note also stated that Kathy would return in October for her four children. Family members told police they did no know who Kathy had been dating or with whom she had left the area. Family members later said they received a Western Union telegram from New Jersey. Kathy's friend, with whom she had left her children, told police she, too, had received a telegram from Kathy, but that she had thrown it away.

An acquaintance of Kathy's told law enforcement officers that Kathy came to her home September 27, but never mentioned leaving town. She said a man with dark hair and a Mustache driving a red Volkswagen pulled up to her house. Kathy put clothes from her car into his and the two drove away.

The investigation intensified in August 1976 when previously interviewed acquaintance told police she had sent the two telegrams, one to Kathy's family, the other to Kathy's friend in charge of the children. She said she had sent the telegrams because, Kathy had asked her to, saying she would explain the reasons later.

Hamza Ali

Time of Disappearance

  • Missing Since: August 3, 2013 from Upper Darby, Delaware County, Pennsylvania
  • Classification: Endangered Missing
  • Date Of Birth: January 8, 2013
  • Age: 7 months
  • Height: 2'1"
  • Weight: 12 lbs
  • Hair Color: Brown
  • Eye Color: Brown
  • Race: Black
  • Gender: Male
  • DNA: Available
  • Case Number: 13-31793
  • NCMEC Number: 1251042

Details of Disappearance
Hamza was last seen on August 3, 2013. Hamza has been missing and presumed dead since his mother's boyfriend, Ummad Rushdi, 30, of Windsor, York County, admitted killing the baby to his brother and police.

Ali was reported missing from Rushdi’s parents’ home in Upper Darby by his mother, Zainab Gaal, 20, on August 4. Ummad Rushdi told her he could kill the child and get away with murder. Gaal said she awoke around 10 a.m. that morning to find Rushdi and her son missing. She was initially told by Rushdi’s family that he had taken the baby to the park, but later was told he was taking her son to Maine.

Police have said Gaal and Ummad Rushdi were involved in a rocky relationship; Rushdi felt the baby was getting in the way. When the 20-year-old woman threatened to leave, Rushdi would strike out at her, causing her to fear for her and her child’s safety.

Ummad Rushdi told police the baby was crying the night of August 3 so he brought him upstairs and shook him to quiet him. But the baby stopped breathing. He wrapped the baby in a sheet and took him to York, where he put him under a pile of sticks. He later went back and got the baby’s body, then buried him elsewhere.

Rushdi’s brother’s car was located off of Route 441 in Lancaster County, down an access road that leads to a power plant. The four-door sedan had been abandoned after it became stuck on a log. A pillowcase that was later identified as having come from Rushdi’s York County home was located near the car by a bloodhound searching for signs of decomposition. The dog also hit on a pile of brush not far from where the car was located.

Extensive searches in three counties have failed to locate the baby’s remains. Upper Darby police charged Rushdi with first-degree murder even though the body had not been located. Foul play is suspected.

Ember Skye Graham

Time of Disappearance

  • Missing Since: July 2, 2015 from Anderson, Shasta County, California
  • Classification: Endangered Missing
  • Date Of Birth: December 19, 2014
  • Age: 11 months
  • Height: 2'1"-2'2"
  • Weight: 14-15 lbs
  • Hair Color: Brown
  • Eye Color: Brown
  • Race: White
  • Gender: Female
  • Medical Conditions: Ember is at risk due to seizures.
  • Clothing: Size 2 Kirkland diaper.
  • DNA: Available
  • Case Number: 201524132

Details of Disappearance
On Thursday, July 2, at 05:26 A.M., Matthew Graham, reported his six month old daughter, Ember Graham, as missing from her crib on Noosha Lane in Anderson, California. Ember was in the care of her father, Matthew Graham, when he reported her missing from her playpen at his Happy Valley home in the early hours of July 2. Video from the Happy Stop Market in Happy Valley the night of her disappearance showed him arriving in his truck with the baby. He was recorded heading in the opposite direction of his home, passing back through about an hour later.

He became a person of interest after the Shasta County Sheriff's Office said he gave inconsistent statements. Several days later, he was killed in a shootout with law enforcement in Dunsmuir, after police used a tracking device on a car he allegedly stole, to locate him. Police had been tracking Graham since after he allegedly skipped a meeting with a probation officer, stole a semiautomatic gun from his mother and fled after hearing that the search for his daughter, Ember, had turned up a possible lead.

After his daughter vanished, Graham had been booked into jail on an unrelated felony probation violation after he allegedly failed to disclose medication he took, in violation of the terms of his probation on a DUI and forgery conviction. He was released and ordered to check in with his probation officer daily before he fled. He hadn't been charged with any crime in relation to his daughter's disappearance.

Ember's disappearance is being investigated as a suspicious circumstance.
